The purpose of The Brisson Association is to promote and foster the best interests of St. Francis de Sales High School through father and son activities and to sustain a student insurance program which assures continuing education at St. Francis de Sales in the event of the death of the party responsible for tuition.Yearly dues are $45.00. Join Brisson as we hoist the tents and raise the Knight flag at every Knight football game, rain or shine, favored or underdog, two hours before kickoff. All are welcome to stop by and enjoy pre-game camaraderie and have a bite to eat. Bring your cooler with favorite beverage and/or favorite football recipe. Located at UT Stadium Lot Area 10 at the Northeast Corner near Ottawa River and Stadium Drive, the popular tailgates are a great place to meet other SFS parents, alumni, teachers and friends of St. Francis. Brisson Open Meeting – NCAA Presentation September 26th, 7:30 p.m. SFS Chapel The Brisson Assocation in cooperation with the NCAA will host an informational session for students interested in learning more about the intracacies of pursuing post secondary athletics. Student athletes and parents wishing to learn more about the various rules, responsibilities and opportunities that exist in post secondary athletics should plan to attend.
Ping Pong-a-Palooza November 2012 (day and time TBD) Whether you’re a Ping-pong wizard or you play a rousing game once a year during family vacation, this event is meant for all who enjoy the game and sure to be a spirited Knight event at it’s funnest!
Father & Son Communion Breakfast January 13, 2013 SFS Chapel This well anticipated and memorable event begins with and inspiring Mass that recognizes the special relationship that exists between father and son. Hear a special Alumni speaker and enjoy an award winning breakfast prepared by our own Zychowicz brothers of Stanley’s Market. Mark your calendars for this one!
FUNARAMA Sunday February 24th, noon – 8:00 p.m. You won’t want to miss this festive indoor fundraising extravaganza that is filled with fun and activity, nestled in the schools gymanasium and cafeteria. Family fun, games and activities for all! Be ready to get your game face on!
Father & Son Day of Service April 2013, (day/time TBD) A rewarding Father/Son day of work in order to give back to the community. The day begins with an early Mass followed by a service project in the surrounding neighborhood. Projects have including assisting homeless shelters, community non-profit centers with tasks like yard and building cleaning, maintenance and even plumbing. After a rewarding day of work, we end the day in Brisson Tailgate fashion hosting a cookout under the tents at school.
