 Every Freshman student will attend a Freshman Retreat during the month of September. These retreats occur during the school day.
The Freshman retreats for the 2011-2012 school year will be held at the high school on September 14, 15, 20 & 21. Rosters will be posted the week prior to the retreats.
In general, the goal of these retreats is for the students to grow in their relationship with one another, to come to a better understanding of what if means to be a member of the St. Francis de Sales community, and to be introduced to the Salesian heritage and Salesian spirituality. These goals are realized through icebreakers, team-building exercises, talks given by upper classmen, small group discussions, the sharing of a meal, prayer and reflection.
