Overview
Most planned gifts
benefit the St. Francis de Sales High School at some future point in time. The support of thoughtful alumni, parents and
friends of SFS who remember the School with bequests and other forms of planned
gifts has been and will continue to be a significant factor in preserving SFS’s
excellence for future generations of students.
Bequests, charitable
gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts
and charitable lead trusts are all examples of planned gifts. Gifts of cash, personal property, life
insurance proceeds, retirement assets, securities and real estate can all
benefit the School. Planned gift
arrangements can help you make a meaningful gift while attaining other
important financial goals.
By making such gifts,
not only do you contribute to SFS, but in some instances, you increase your
income, enjoy a charitable deduction, and avoid taxes on your capital gains.
