Overview
The
Knights’ Ball is the School’s largest annual fundraiser. Typically held the first Saturday night in
December, it is an elegant dinner-dance and premier social event with all
proceeds directly benefiting student scholarships. The annual net benefit has grown to almost $200,000, thus providing tuition assistance to families that otherwise could
not afford a Knight education. Since its inception in 1992, the Knights’ Ball has generated over $1.9 million for scholarship assistance. Each year, 65% of our student body receives scholarship or financial assistance – and the need continues to grow. The Knights’ Ball is a both a fantastic extravaganza and an event of tremendous importance and
benefit to the School!
Time and distance can be a barrier to attending the Knights’ Ball. Nevertheless, the magnitude and impact of this event warrants a call to action from alumni and friends everywhere. As the major fundraising event of the year, all alumni and friends of the School are encouraged to participate in one of several ways:
Help Underwrite the Ball
- Gold Sponsor -- $10,000 (table for ten and one full-page advertisement in the program book)
- Silver Sponsor -- $5,000 (table for ten and one half-page advertisement)
- Red Sponsor -- $2,500 (six tickets and one quarter-page advertisement)
- Blue Sponsor -- $1,250 (four tickets and one quarter-page advertisement)
- Knight Sponsor -- $500 (two tickets and one business card advertisement)
Sponsor-a-Knight Program
During
the Knights’ Ball, there is a live scholarship auction. Gifts given for this purpose are typically matched by a previously arranged donor:
- $8,000 – full scholarship
- $5,000 -- two-third scholarship
- $2,500 -- one-third scholarship
- $1,000 -- one-eighth scholarship
Sponsor a Teacher’s Attendance
A gift of $150 sponsors a teacher’s attendance at the Knights’ Ball.
Purchase an Ornament
The purchase of a commemorative Christmas tree ornament for only $50 automatically
enters the buyer into the Treasure Quest Raffle, which offers three fantastic
prizes.
Provide an Item for the Silent Auction
Condo
packages, weekend trips, tickets to sporting events, etc.
