Head Coach Tim Gerken welcomed back over 25 Baseball Alumni for their annual Alumni Game. This year Coach Gerken honored 4 past City Champion Teams. The members of the City Champion Teams of 1978, 1983, 1988 and 2003 who were at the game received framed pictures of their team from their championship season.
Then the fun of actually playing the game started against some of our current players. Most of the alumni who come back to the game are still playing baseball in some kind of league.
We had hot dogs and drinks for the players and family at the game. We then went downtown for a reception hosted by SFS Alum Bob Best ’80 and to a Mud Hens Game. A great time was had by all who attended, and we look forward to seeing you next year.
