At St. Francis, our commitment to educational excellence begins with the experience of our highly capable faculty - more than 50 full- and part-time teachers in total. With an average of 17 years of experience, each faculty member brings his or her own unique personality and expertise to the St. Francis Family. And there are many familiar faces among the faculty of St. Francis - some as revered and respected as the proud knight that stands watch over it. The average teacher has been here more than 15 years, and many graduates have returned to their Alma Mater. As coaches and moderators, mentors and friends, our teachers are the backbone of the extended St. Francis family, sharing traditions and spirit with our students.
The guidance and preparation that St. Francis offers its young men is best exemplified in our commitment to academic excellence. With a student-to-teacher ratio of nearly 12:1, each and every student receives the attention and guidance he needs to get ahead. St. Francis is a college preparatory institution, offering more Advanced Placement courses than any other high school in Northwest Ohio. Each year, many students graduate with college credits and most are offered scholarships.
