Finances and Cost
Kroger Community Rewards

Kroger has a new fundraising program that will enable SFS family members, faculty members and alumni to earn money towards tuition or to be used as a donation to the school. If you are already a member of the Kroger Plus card program, go to the following website, http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com, click on Ohio and continue with the easy-to-follow instructions. You have to shop in Ohio (or Lambertville, which is an Ohio store) in order for your earnings to go to St. Francis.  If you don’t have a Kroger Plus card, you can sign up for one online also. Our NPO number is 84077. Within 48 hours of signing up, a percentage of your purchases will go towards St. Francis de Sales High School. You will also notice on the bottom of your cash register tape, there will be a line stating this. If you have a family member (grandparent etc.) who wants to designate their contribution to your son’s tuition account we would need to know that so we can match up names if they are not the same. Kroger will send us quarterly reports with the dollar value earned which will be applied to your account. Please make sure, when you are choosing the organization, you're careful to choose St. Francis de Sales in Toledo and not the other one in Columbus!  No refunds will be made in case of withdrawal or graduation.  If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Meinzer via This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or at 419-531-1618 x304.

WTPSPA Scrip Program

The St Francis de Sales Scrip Programa.k.a. the WTPSPA - West Toledo Parochial School Parents Associationwas formed in 1998 to set up a scrip fundraising program to assistfamilies with the ever rising tuition cost.  We welcome all St.Francis de Sales families from any school or parish to participate inour program to assist them with their tuition expense by using scrip for their everyday purchases.

Scrip is simply a word that means"substitute money" - in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They're the same gift certificates that you buy at the store.  Many popular retailers participate in our SCRIP program including Kohls, Anderson’s, Giant Eagle, Speedway, Bob Evans, Dick's SportingGoods, Red Lobster and many, many others. You then spend this scrip for your everyday household purchases and you earn money for your tuition with your ordinary family spending.  Just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program!  Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and even dining out.

The new scrip year began May 1, 2010. If you are interested in learning more or earning dollars for your child’s tuition please visit www.nosa.us  and click on WTPSPA. You can enroll online, see a complete up to date list of merchants, or read through our Frequently Asked Questions. On April 30, 2011 we will cut a check for your earnings payable jointly to you and the school of your choice. These earnings can be used for Preschool through College.
