 This fund provides tuition assistance for SFS staff members’ daughters who attend local Catholic high schools. It serves to reward outstanding teachers and staff who have dedicated themselves to Catholic education; in addition, it helps the school recruit and retain teachers.

I have been a member of the Knight family for 10 years and the financial support to enable my daughter to attend a Catholic high school means a lot to me.

 This initiative generates the necessary revenue to reach a wider diversity of families and increase minority enrollment.
“I am so thankful for this scholarship. It has helped my family so much. It is not easy sending one child to St. Francis, another to the University of Toledo, then trying to raise a newborn. I like St. Francis because of the warm feeling you have every time you walk through the doors, knowing that these are your fellow Knights and your brothers for the next four years and more….I have met many friends through all of the spiritual activities, sports, and school activities such as L.A.S.S.O., a club for Latinos organized by Senor Orozco.

Current SFS students are rewarded for both academic and extracurricular achievement. Every student is strongly encouraged to participate in school-related activities such as music, Christian service, students, and dramatics. There is no better way to encourage a student to excel than to provide an incentive for academic excellence.

A St. Francis education should be accessible to all young men regardless of any financial limitations. As private school tuition increases, a Knight education is simply out of reach for many families. During the past five years, financial aid applications have increased 48%. This tuition fund provides full and partial scholarships to students who qualify. |
