CONGRATULATIONS to our Freshman Basketball Team as they have defeated Central Catholic, Whitmer, and St. John's all in the past 8 days. With a 9-3 record overall they are looking towards a TRAC championship in the coming weeks! GO KNIGHTS!

Knights of Honor Recognized

The feast day of the school’s patron, St. Francis de Sales, is celebrated at a school Mass concelebrated by several Oblates. For twelve years it has also been the occasion to recognize many outstanding young men of the senior class as Knights of Honor.

Chris Hedden named Head Football Coach

St. Francis de Sales High School has chosen for its new head football coach a former Offensive Coordinator and Position coach at the University of Toledo, University of Northern Iowa, and the University of Akron.

St. Francis de Sales Aqua Knights won the boys title in the first Three Rivers Athletic Conference swimming and diving championships which concluded Saturday at the St. Francis Natatorium.

Three students from Mr. Neary's AP Economics class competed in the Junior Achievement Challenge at the University of Toledo. The team of Paul Frye, Tyler Agard and Matt Kirian finished first in the Red Industry competition.

Three members of The Singing Blue, seniors Andrew Bodie, Justin Coen, and Scott Peterson, represented St. Francis de Sales at the University of Toledo 15th Annual High School Honors Choir Festival.

Scarf Scholarship Sale

The L.A.S.S.O. Club is taking orders for the new Knight scarf designed by senior John Antoszewski. The proceeds of the sales are used to benefit the L.A.S.S.O. Endowment Fund for scholarships.

McGibbeny Earns 100th Varsity Win

Devon McGibbeny earned his 100th win at the Bowling Green Invitational duals on December 17th.

Football Team named Academic-All-Ohio

A few select football teams earn the right to be called Academic All-Ohio, and again this year the St. Francis de Sales High School football team has been recognized by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association for academic excellence.

The Aqua Knights had a busy weekend starting on Friday night when they traveled to the University of Findlay to swim against Findlay HS. The Knights won the meet.
