The Knights Cross Country Team will return to the State Championship for the third straight season by finishing as one of the top teams at the Division I regional championships. The top five finishers for the team were David St. John at 17th place (16:32.12), Kyle Lach placed 22nd (16:43.03), Dan Siebenaller placed 24th (16:44.89), Jason White finished 39th (17:00.60), and Dan Lenart finished 51st (17:10.52). The State meet will be Saturday, November 3 at 12:30 p.m. at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH. It is worth noting that there are 21 All-Academic scholar athletes on the Cross Country Team.

Cross Country Knights take 4 of top 10 spots to win Division I District I Championships. Kyle Lach placed 3rd (16:30.20), David St. John placed 4th (16:36.40), Dan Siebenaller placed 5th (16:38.10), and Dan Lenart placed 9th (16:52.10).
Regionals at Tiffin next Saturday at 12:30 p.m. for Cross Country Knights! Knights must finish in top 4 of 16 teams competing at Regionals in order to advance to States on November 3 at 12:30 p.m. at National Trail Raceway near Columbus. Keep up that winning pace Knights! We know you can do it!

St. Francis de Sales Cross Country Team successfully defended its TRAC Championship Title at Sycamore Springs Golf Course on Saturday. The Knights scored 34 points to out pace runner up Findlay. Kyle Lach repeated as TRAC individual champion, breaking a school record with a time of 15:27.71. Also breaking a school record was David St. John who finished fourth. Other Knight teammates who scored for the team were Dan Siebenaller (eighth), Dan Lenart (ninth), and Jason White (12th).
Coach Jim Neary was named TRAC Coach of the Year! Congratulations to all the Cross Country Knights!
