Scholarships Based on Placement Test Percentiles
A $10,000 scholarship ($2500/year, renewable for 4 years) for any student scoring in the 98th or 99th local percentile on the High School Placement Test.
A $2,000 scholarship ($500/year, renewable for 4 years) for any student scoring in the 90th to 97th local percentile on the High School Placement Test.
* All scholarships are renewable for 4 years provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Scholarships for Catholic School Students
St. Francis de Sales High School has established endowed scholarships for students from the following Catholic Elementary Schools/Parishes. Students must submit a scholarship application to St. Francis de Sales High School by December 14, 2012. A copy of the application should also be give to the elementary school principal. The elementary school principals review the applications and send their nominations to the Scholarship Selection Committee of St. Francis de Sales High School. The committee makes the final decision on scholarship recipients.

Scholarships for Public School Students
Students from public schools may also apply for scholarships by submitting a scholarship application directly to St. Francis de Sales High School by December 14th, 2012. The Scholarship Selection Committee of St. Francis de Sales High School will review all applications and make the final decision on scholarship recipients.
Ed Choice Scholarship
The Ohio Department of Education offers the EdChoice scholarship to qualifying students.
If you currently have an Ed Choice scholarship, please complete the Renewal Form and return it to SFS no later than April 19, 2013. Please remember to include a proof of address.
The following students are eligible for the Ed Choice scholarship and should complete the Request Form and return it to SFS no later than April 19, 2013:
Eighth grade students who attend Chase, East Broadway, Glenwood, Jones, Keyser, King Academy for Boys, Leverette, Marshall, McTigue, Pickett, Reynolds, Riverside, Robinson, Rosa Parks, Sherman, and Spring.
Eighth grade students who currently attend a charter school but would be assigned in their resident district to one of the schools listed above are also eligible to apply.
Eighth grade students who would be assigned in their resident district to attend Scott High School or Woodward High School next year.
Families are reminded to include a copy of the student's birth certificate and a proof of address. If requesting low income consideration, please include a completed Income Verification Form.
Financial Aid/Work Study
Families can also apply for financial assistance. To be eligible to receive financial assistance for the 2013-2014 School Year, the parents/guardians of incoming freshmen should mail the financial aid form, along with the required tax documentation and forms, to Private School Aid Service. Please postmark ASAP.
The PSAS financial aid application can also be completed online at https://www.psas.org/onlineapp.aspx. The school code is 1082.
Students who receive financial assistance will participate in the student work program.
Scholarships for Catholic School Employees
A $1,000 per year scholarship is offered to any student whose parent is a full-time employee of a Catholic School. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average for renewal of the scholarship from year to year.

Brothers Reduction
Families will receive a $500 tuition reduction for the second of two sons attending St. Francis de Sales High School simultaneously, $1,000 for the third son, and $1,500 for the fourth.
