Three St. Francis de Sales High School seniors have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program. These students have demonstrated outstanding academic potential by their strong performance in this highly competitive program. Annual Honors Ceremony
The annual Honors and Awards Ceremony was held September 22, 2011 to present medals and awards to students for their work in the 2010-2011 school year. National Honor Society
Thirty-four juniors and seniors were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. Dr. Dino Santacroce, a ’97 alumnus, was the guest speaker for the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony held at St. Francis de Sales High School. Students were nominated by faculty members on the basis of their high standards of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. In addition to being a junior or senior, the St. Francis de Sales minimum qualifications include having a cumulative GPA of at least 4.00. Collegium Honorum
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE---“It’s What We Do!” Each spring St. Francis de Sales High School recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of its students by inducting them into the Collegium Honorum. Membership in the Collegium Honorum is composed of students from each class who have a cumulative grade point average of 4.000 or better. Membership is determined each year at the end of the first semester. Seniors who average 4.333 or better will receive the Collegium Honorum traditional blazer displaying embroidered emblem of the school’s crest. Students Honored in National Merit Competition
